Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a skilled Service Sales Engineer to join their client's team in Boise, ID. This position is essential for managing projects with quick turnaround requirements, involving conceptual design, estimates, and project management across a variety of systems. The Service Sales Engineer will maintain a "customer first" attitude while coordinating and scheduling work internally. Initially, the role includes handling sales leads for established customers, with an expectation to develop new clients to achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify, sell, and negotiate repair services for commercial and industrial facility systems.
- Prepare and present effective sales proposals to new and existing customers to achieve profitable results.
- Develop new client relationships through prospecting activities.
- Document and follow up on leads and referrals.
- Manage all phases of a project, from inception to close out.
- Proactively resolve issues and provide information and advice as needed.
- Form in-depth partnerships with customers and anticipate their needs.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas and profit margins.
- Act as a decision maker with clients.
- Confer with staff and customers on all phases of projects.
- Review contracts to evaluate compliance.
- Partner with in-house Engineers to review engineered drawings.
- Direct field personnel or other staff on projects.
- Keep management informed of market conditions and trends affecting the industry.
- Other duties as assigned by upper management.
Qualifications
- Practical understanding of plumbing systems and service sales.
- Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
- Proven history of sales experience and prospecting for new customers.
- Effective interaction skills with customers, field staff, management, and office personnel.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere.
- Adaptability to flexible responsibilities.
- Consistent goal setting and deadline meeting capabilities.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
Required Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This role requires 25% travel to regional branch offices and customer job sites.
Benefits
The position offers competitive wages ranging from $64,000 to $96,000 annually. The role is fully on-site in Boise, ID.
